As a new voice for this generation, Dharius Daniels is a gifted leader who has touched many lives. As the Senior Pastor and founder of Kingdom Church in Ewing, New Jersey, Reverend Daniels’ ministry impacts people of all ages, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. Kingdom Church is a vibrant and growing ministry. Kingdom Church was founded in August of 2005, and has grown by the thousands, has developed several ministries, such as Financial Fitness, Health and Wholeness, and Kingdom Care, which provide meaningful and relevant ministry to address the diverse needs of the congregation and the community. At Kingdom Church, Reverend Daniels is equipping his congregation to make a meaningful impact within and beyond the walls of the church.
He is the president and founder of the Kingdom Community Development Corporation (CDC). As the president of the Kingdom CDC, he has built an institution that directly addresses areas such as literacy, poverty and poor health. The Read, Write and Run Program is designed to build up the community by tearing down barriers of adult illiteracy, while the “Dollars and Sense” program focuses on teaching teens how to become economically informed and financially savvy so that they can be wise managers over their material resources. The Kingdom CDC also has a solid record of increasing community political participation through its voter registration campaign. In 2008, the CDC has carried out its first back to school event where almost one thousand backpacks filled with school supplies have been provided to children in the community along with games, activities and entertainment. Another initiative that is in the works is a multifaceted professional development program geared towards adults.
He has developed a Breath Taking Ministry concept that describes the standard of excellence at Kingdom Church: a standard of excellence that is apparent in his commitment to not only ministry and community but also education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
As a result of his commitment to Kingdom work, for the past few years numerous pastors trying to plant churches have reached out to him regarding his start and how to duplicate what he has done. Because so many pastors have reached out to Pastor Daniels for insight and guidance, he has decided that the Kingdom Mentorship Network (KMN) is the best way to serve these leaders. His vision for the KMN is to be a bridge from Kingdom desire to Kingdom integration that will further equips Kingdom minded leaders with the tools needed to enhance every aspect of life and ministry.
He is married to Shameka Daniels and they are the proud parents of two sons Dharius Seth and Gabriel Micah Daniels. He has dedicated his life to the work of ministry, which is inseparable from community involvement and development. “The way you change a community is to change the people in it.” This is the philosophy of Dharius Daniels, but more importantly it is a principle by which his life is guided.
